Windsor Legion TV Bingo Rules
The telephone operator shall answer all incoming telephone calls and signal to the caller to cease play.
The telephone operator shall request the player to identify the serial number and the free space number to verify the winning card.
The winning card is verified by comparing the numbers on the winning card to an identical card programmed in the computer verification system or book.
If the card is not a winning card, the caller will proceed to call the next number(s) until another call stops play and a winning card is verified.
The phone number and card color will be displayed during the broadcast to call and verify a card.
The first player to call in with a winning card will not necessarily be the prize winner. The player determined to have completed the pre-determined pattern in the least numbers shall be determined the winner(s). (This is an Alcohol and Gaming Authority rule).
The winning card must be presented and signed to receive your bingo prize.
Windsor Legion TV Bingo reserves the right to advertise the winner's name on the scroll, announce the winner's name on the air and name the store they purchased their books.
A bingo ball has to be verbally called to be valid.
Once the Cookie Jar reaches $ 20,000.00 it becomes frozen and may be held for up to twelve weeks.
Forcing the Cookie Jar Number on Game 5: On the evening the Cookie Jar is forced to go at the end of Game 5, we will continue to play on the same card for the "Sputnik". The winner of the "Sputnik" game will then be the winner of the Cookie Jar.
If there is a Bingo cancelled, ie: power failure, the cards will be played the next week, and notification of the cancellation will be sent to the Executive Director Alcohol & Gaming Authority.
When all games are closed the Official List of Winners will be read at the end of the Bingo.
If there are more than one winner on a game the prize will be split evenly, ie: 3 winners on $ 100.00 get $ 34.00 each; total prize would be $ 102.00 (Minimum Prize $ 20.00).
No staff working on the production of the Bingo on the night of Bingo will be permitted to play. Specifically the caller, the phone operator and the technical support technician.
