 John was born in Three Mile Plains on

September 26, 1921. He served in the Canadian

Armored Corps (tanks) from December 1941 to

May 1944 in Camp Borden, Ontario. John was a

member of the Royal Canadian Legion for over

17 years and was a Life Member. He passed away

January 22, 2009.
